01
WHY

Habitats such as seagrass fields are key to our ecology.  It is therefore critical we ensure their protection by finding mooring solutions to avoid damaging these habitats in any way possible.

ABCS was established to help clients find these solutions in a sustainable and cost-effective manner to help reduce the impact on the seabed and associated habitats.

Traditional mooring solutions scour the seabed where equipment like riser chains are dragged around the floor when not under tension.  This ‘dragging’ causes damage to the habitat in the localised area  and in turn destroying or severely impacting the species that live within it.

ABCS experience and knowledge means we understand how critical good quality equipment needs to be so it can perform to spec and allow a sustainable life cycle.

All equipment used by ABCS is tailored specifically for the project and not generic.  By using the FEED method, equipment fits the project rather than making the project fit off the shelf equipment.

Coupled with in-house manufacturing and carefully selected Approved Suppliers, ABCS and therefore their Client can have full confidence that the mooring solution will operate as designed for life span and function.

WORK PACKAGES

WP1

ABCS uses the FEED (Front end engineering and design) development process to ensure all their clients projects are robustly designed to be executed to the agreed scope, on schedule and within budget.

WP2

ABCS uses both in-house and approved suppliers to ensure all equipment operates to the optimum standards.  This equipment is then installed by ABCS’s experienced team allowing for rigid quality management system.

WP3

ABCS can provide post-project monitoring to gather further data and metrics on installation.

This additional data and analysis can provide valuable future planning considerations, identify enhancements for Planned Maintenance Systems and provide the client with valuable performance data.
